Tom Ryley was appointed as a Director and Chairman of  the Tribute Board of Directors in 2010. Tom has worked in the Canadian energy industry for his full career, and is the Managing Partner of Beacon Head Energy. Previously he was with Suncor Energy for 25 years in a variety of commercial and operational roles, most recently as Executive Vice President, Refining and Marketing. Tom is also a director of Newalta Corporation, the Chairman of Benefuel Inc., and was previously the Chair of the Canadian Petroleum Products Institute.

Faralee brings legal and financing expertise to the team. Faralee has a corporate commercial practice in Calgary with an emphasis on taxation law and securities law including the structuring and implementing of transactions and corporate reorganizations for both private and public companies. Faralee acts as counsel, advising on securities matters for various public companies and has completed several initial public offerings on behalf of clients. She has participated in the completion of transactions which have required innovative solutions to address significant and complex tax and security issues. Faralee is a member of many professional associations such as the Law Society of Alberta, Calgary Bar Association, Canadian Bar Associations (Tax Specialist Section), Canadian Tax Foundation and the Canadian Petroleum Tax Society. Faralee obtained her LL.B. from Osgoode Hall Law and an MBA from York University. She also holds a B.Sc. with Honours and a B.A. with Honours at the University of Calgary.

Jack Schoenmakers was previously the Vice President of Corporate Development at Tribute and has been a director of Tribute since 2005. Jack is currently President of Schoevest Investment Inc., and Avenue Energy. As President of Avenue Energy, he previously managed oil and gas assets in Ontario and Alberta, traded physical gas at various points in Canada and marketed natural gas to large volume industrial customers. Previously, Jack co-founded and acted as President for Ontario Energy Savings Corp., (currently trading as Just Energy on the TSX) which during his tenure acquired over 200,000 residential customer equivalents purchasing in excess of 90,000 Mcf per day, with annual sales of $160 million. Jack is very familiar with the regulatory energy environment in Ontario, and has interacted with the Ontario Energy Board and Minister of Energy regarding deregulation policies and practices. Jack has worked for several energy companies in the past which include Stampeder Energy (Vice President), Enron Gas Services (Director Eastern Region), Unigas Corporation (Director Eastern Region), TransCanada PipeLines Limited and Union Gas Limited. Jack is a past Board Member of the Ontario Energy Association and was a past Chair of the Ontario Energy Marketers Association. Jack obtained his B.A. in Economics from the University of Waterloo.

Jane Lowrie has been president of Tribute since 2003 and has been a director of Tribute since its inception in 1997. Jane has been front and centre in leading Tribute Resources Inc. through its highest growth phase thus far and has been instrumental in building Tribute’s asset base. Jane is a second generation oil and gas producer in Ontario, and has been involved in oil and gas exploration and production in Ontario for over 25 years. Jane is a past President of the Ontario Petroleum Institute (1994-95), and has been a valued member for over 25 years. Jane obtained an MBA from the Richard Ivey School of Business.

Bill has an established track record in the industry with over 29 years of senior management and executive level experience in the natural gas utility industry as well as the oil and gas sector. Mr. Blake has been employed as the General Manager for Clearbeach Resources Inc., since 2006. Clearbeach contracted with Tribute to provide management expertise for the development of Tribute’s first natural gas storage project, Tipperary. Mr. Blake has acted as the project manager for the development and construction of the Tipperary Pools. Prior to 2006, Mr. Blake was employed in a senior management position for 27 years with an Ontario natural gas utility. Mr. Blake is familiar with Ontario regulatory matters having been involved in the preparation of numerous cases as a key witness before the Ontario Energy Board. Mr. Blake has a Bachelor of Arts majoring in Economics from the University of Western Ontario.

Jamie joined the board in 2010. Jamie is the President of Auburn Developments, based in London, Ontario. Under Jamie's management, Auburn has integrated new and innovative ideas for development into its operations including the move towards the construction of environmentally sustainable buildings and the design and development of student specific housing communities. It continues to strengthen its reputation as one of the most successful development and investment real estate companies in Ontario. In addition, Jamie is starting Waterloo regions' largest ever, mix-use high-rise development.

Jennifer Lewis is a graduate of the Richard Ivey School of Business at the University of Western Ontario. Immediately following graduation, Jennifer worked at Deloitte and Touche LLP where she obtained her Chartered Accountant designation. She was involved in the tax group and in the financial advisory group gaining valuable experience in business valuations, mergers and acquisitions, forensic accounting, financial modeling and business financings.  For the past two years Jennifer has been a consultant to Tribute where she assumed responsibilities for assessing renewable energy business opportunities in wind power, landfill gas and hydraulic facilities in addition to being responsible for compliance reporting including the preparation of the financial statements and MD&A.
